Only Gorgeous Weddings

I had an email from Sarah off Only Gorgeous Weddings blog site with regards to featuring one of my engagement shots that I had done from back in 2009. To me this is pretty awesome as I enjoy sharing my work with the world, and even more so with a feature alongside others. Check it out here.

The original image featured can be seen on this post with Marc & Siobhan’s engagement shoot.

Shahnawaz & Yasmeen – wedding shoot : Gladstone Park Community Centre, Peterborough

One thing I love about Asian Weddings is how busy it gets, the amount of people, colours, and food that involves around a tight schedule. So much so, that most of the couples shots are tend to done in the evening of the actual wedding day. With so many people attending, the only place in Peterborough that can hold such vast amount of people was at the Gladstone Park Community Centre.

Shah and Yasmeen understood the intensity involved and based around the way I shoot, I still try to capture as much photojournalism as I can in order for them to enjoy the day amongst family.

With Muslim Weddings, the amount of formal shots required is quite similar to that of an Oriental Wedding. However, after the ceremony, when it comes to the father giving the bride away, this is a very sad time for the immediate family, it’s quite of an emotional setting. Here I’ve managed to capture the tender moment between father and the bride (more to come).

Andrew & Amy – wedding shoot : Horwood House, Milton Keynes

It’s been awhile since I’ve last updated my blog, and rather than keep back dating my posts, I’ll put the images up when I get round to uploading them. I’ve been so busy, but since a lot of you have requested for me to put more images on to the blog, here’s another.

I shot this whilst assisting Dale from off Affinity Studios, the wedding of Andrew & Amy was held at Horwood House in Milton Keynes. Here’s my take on a an artistic created Bridal portraiture. Hope you like it.

Andrew & Kelly – wedding shoot : Ringwood Hall Hotel, Chesterfield

This month is probably my busiest I’ve had with weddings in a long time, not only because of August, but the fact I have 3 in a row with 2 days spaced between each, spanned over 3 different locations. Makes the travelling more fun :)

Today’s shoot involves being up at Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield for Andrew and Kelly’s wedding, as per usual I’m assisting Matt Sanderson. I’ve decided not to put up a lot of images from this wedding, more rather a small selection… I’ve picked a few of my faves from the day.
