All in all it’s good to have low and hard suspension for when you are on the track racing on smooth tarmac. However, it’s a different story when the track is replaced for normal roads that are full of pot holes, cracks and bumps!
I had to make do with a balance of performance and comfort so to speak, so I had bought the Mugen Sports Suspension dampers but replaced the hard springs for a set of slightly more forgiving Eibach’s. This essentially lowered the car by approx 30mm. With this I have bought the post face lift DC5 version which fixes the bump steer that happened on the earlier pre face lift DC5′s.
Along with this I had fitted some Eibach camber arms, this allowed my wheels to be set at a negative camber. I got all the work fitted at TGM Sports in Fleet, they set my car up as fast road so it will have a bit more grip when going round corners.
